Uueda Puhkekeskus started operating as a small tourist farm on 24.06.1998. By now, we have developed into a recreation center where we organize anniversaries, gatherings, seminars with on-site catering, we offer accommodation, the possibility of using a sauna and a hot tub. And all this can be enjoyed in the immediate vicinity of the city of Pärnu. Only 10 kilometers and 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the center of Pärnu, you will find yourself on the "peninsula" of the magical Sauga River. On the one hand, we are located in close proximity to the city, but on the other hand, far enough to feel the relaxing effect of pure nature. Our lovingly maintained area of 3.8 hectares is surrounded on three sides by the Sauga River, whose winding banks make you feel as if you have entered the landscape of South Estonia. During our quarter of a century of operation, two generations of the Uueda Puhkekeskus have given new life to several different buildings with an interesting history and tastefully matched them with modern buildings. A pleasant time travel is also offered by the collection of new items and a very diverse display of antiques. In addition to accommodation, we offer opportunities for organizing various anniversaries, gatherings and free time. If you are looking for a suitable place for an outing, feel free to contact us and we will gladly make an offer based on the needs of the group. Send us an inquiry for a more detailed price.

History
In 1998 we started out with just 12 beds and an event hall for 20 people. Today, the Holiday Centre has significantly expanded in the form of several interesting buildings. We are currently able to accommodate up to 89 guests and our 2 halls fit up to 150 people.
Our great hall, or party house, occupies a former hay barn that was put out of use. It is a spacious and light hall with high ceilings that can comfortably fit up to 100 guests.
Our summer barn is a dignified building that is nearly a century old which we brought from Viljandi County and gave a new life to. In addition to gatherings, its roofed area allows our guests to enjoy an open-air cinema in the evening.
Experience sauna. A former smoke sauna more than 120 years old, brought over from the forests of Viljandi County and revived here. It is a sauna that unites the moist steam of a country sauna and the mystical aroma of a smoke sauna, penetrated deep into the layers of wood over decades of use.
Our Holiday Centre is far from being completed – we are constantly developing so that we can offer our guests new and exciting opportunities.
Unique Items
Our collection of unique items and antiques – where you can see old tools, motorcycles, cars and even tractors – will transport you back to the last century. The collection exhibits machines with the fascinating history of our people, all properly repaired and displayed for viewing. The fun exhibition often gives our guests the joy of recognition and nostalgia.
If you know of a great old machine waiting for a new life, do not hesitate to tell us about it – we will see whether we can add it to our collection.

Projects
Project: Reconstruction of the kitchen, the floor of the event hall and the heating system of Uueda Holiday Centre (2018)
Source of funding: Project support allocated within the LEADER measure (ERDP for 2014–2020 measure 19.2) The amount of the support is 39,677 euros, the total cost is 95,950.15 euros.
Goals and expected results of the project:
Reconstruction of the kitchen, the floor of the event hall and the heating system of Uueda Holiday Centre will have a positive effect on the strategic development of the services offered at the tourism farm, increase the scope and quality of the services and allow us to develop cooperation with institutions and companies in the area and achieve stable forms of cooperation in the organisation of seminars and training events for customers from all of Estonia.
The combination of rooms with reconstructed heat insulation and an updated heating system will save on energy and costs. In addition, the implementation of the project will provide an opportunity to increase the turnover of the company. Renovating the infrastructure will allow us to offer customers the possibility of seminars and training events in better conditions during the winter season, and it will also provide the opportunity to organise customer-friendly events all year round.
Reconstruction of the kitchen will increase the capabilities of seminar and event organisation due to the possibility to provide catering for more customers, and in the summer we will be able to cater for larger groups such as various lifestyle and children’s camps. In addition, increasing the catering volume allows us to foster cooperation with local producers and other undertakings. Increasing our storage space and renovating the kitchen will allow us to expand cooperation and the proportion of procured products (fish, meat etc), which is impossible in our current conditions. As the purpose of the investments is to increase the annual volume of services, it requires 2–3 additional jobs, which will have a positive effect on employment in the nearby region.
